This process is deemed a reflection of nature within ourselves.  In particular the practice here aims to focus on classical use of herbal administration by blending flavors and actions to form an appropriate prescription for the client.

Depending on the pattern of disharmony either dried herbs or granules will be scripted to bring about change and equilibrium to the internal systems.  All medicines are GM and pesticide free and are supplied by a trusted Pharmacy in the UK.

Herbal medicine can be used as a stand alone treatment, or can facilitate acupuncture and other aspects of clinical practice in stubborn or complex patterns of illness.  Wherever possible clients will be encouraged to explore herbs available to them in the local environment, to get tasting the flavors and explore the actions for themselves.

A great examples to examine are Nettles (Xun Ma) and Dandelion (Pu Gong Ying).  For interest, have a look at the link to get a feel what these amazing, readily available plants can do.

Please get in touch to discuss herbal medicine, your journey into herbs is not limited to the clinic.  We offer online (Zoom) or phone consultations to provide the exciting prospect of a exploring a bespoke herbal formula.  See how herbal medicine can bring harmony in the body and mind with Highest Springs today!

Client Testimonial

After a failed round of IVF, I decided to embark on acupuncture to complement our second attempt. From the very first meeting in Barnstaple, Daniel immediately put me at ease and made me feel comfortable, explaining how acupuncture works and the benefits I should feel - this was invaluable as I am terrified of needles! I saw him throughout my fertility treatment and I can honestly say the acupuncture made me feel amazing; the relaxing side effects really helped to balance out the chemical fertility treatment I was having. I am convinced that the acupuncture with Daniel was a massive help in achieving our positive pregnancy result and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to any other IVF ladies out there. Daniel, once again, thank you so much for all your help - your treatment has helped up to achieve our dream!
